BeingBetter - Health and Financial Management Services for the Workplace

Welcome to the BeingBetter website

Welcome to a better future

The BeingBetter project has been created by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and is funded by European Regional Development Funds and Yorkshire Forward to support local employers to enhance their economic performance and staff retention by improving the health and financial well-being of their employees.

Acting as a broker, our service is entirely FREE to all Rotherham employers. We will conduct a diagnostic on your business and, through our established links with local partners, training providers, financial advisors, health and well-being specialists, we can help you in working towards achieving a healthier, happier, more productive workforce.

Now is the time to invest in your staff - making small changes which will go a long way to making your company a happier, more productive place to be, making you an attractive employer and improving your bottom line.

Through our intervention, we aim to:

  • Reduce long term sickness and absenteeism
  • Improve presenteeism and productivity
  • Improve morale
  • Improve staff retention
  • Improve bottom-line

It is universally recognised that many health related issues can directly influence our performance at work. Our diet and fitness levels relate directly to the way we feel in both body and mind. When their physical health is running at 100% so will your workforces' potential.

In today's economy we all have to balance the cost of living with the money we earn and often we can stumble and fall into debt. The level of mental distraction and anxiety financial worries cause can be a significant barrier to high performance at work.
